Positions held:
- After 30 years of service to the prestigious institutuion of All India Radio (One of the largest broadcasting organisations in the world), she retired as a top graded Staff Artiste in 2013.
- She is a prominent member of the All India Radio Audition Board.
- Kalyani has been a Member of the Selection Committee for selection of music lecturers and readers for Banaras Hindu University.
- Kalyani has been an examiner for Graduate and Post Graduate courses in Delhi University, Rabindra Bharati, Kolkata and PottiSreeramulu Telugu University, Hyderabad.
- She is a senior empanelled Artiste of the prestigious cultural board of India, ICCR. (Indian Council for Cultural Relations)
- Kalyani orchestrated a musical ensemble for students given scholarships by Centre for Cultural Resources and Training (CCRT) in 2015. She has been guiding several fellowship students.
